No bundled content or provider service
- No channels, films, series, playlists, logos, posters, provider credentials, or subscriptions are included in the app.
- There is no provider directory, built-in provider, sales brokerage, affiliate recommendation, or catalog recommendation.
- The controller does not operate a content or streaming server for media selected by users.
User-selected sources
Users explicitly add their own source and confirm that it was lawfully obtained and that they hold every required access and playback right. CouchPotatoPlayer does not approve or reject a technical source merely because of its name, but it does not promote unlawful use, infringement, access-control circumvention, or unlawful redistribution.
Review and marketing media
App Review and marketing demonstrations must use only self-produced or clearly licensed test video, audio, artwork, EPG data, and neutral branding. Test media is not bundled as consumer content.
